Course Description:

This is a research based course expanding on the study of biological concepts introduced in first year biology. The content includes properties of life, application of the scientific method, population dynamics, species continuity, molecular genetics, comparative animal and plant morphology and physiology, cellular metabolism, classification and change through time, and careers in biological science.

Prerequisite: Completion of Biology 1 with a grade of ‘C’ or higher.
