American History Honors 1.0 Credit

Course Description:

Students research the chronological development of the American people by examining the political, economic, social, religious, military, and cultural events that affected the rise and growth of our nation.Activities include analyzing primary sources and maps, creating timelines, completing projects and written assignments, and conducting independent research. Students complete an independent honors project.

Prerequisite: Completion of Grade 8 social studies with a grade of ‘B’ or higher.
